Getting 10%: Free Kindle Book

Editor's Note: Learn to get 10 to 20x your bank's savings interest rate with this free ebook. Finances might not be fun (for some of us at least), but this read will help build your understanding of investments.

A good book to get some basic knowledge on how to set up a decent investment range!

Book Description:
Downturns in the stock market and real estate have made us afraid to invest in anything but an insured savings account or cash in a coffee can. But today banks pay such low rates, they're not much better than cash. But great rates ARE available even in today's environment - you just have to know where to look. Includes links to many resources.

Those who like Dave Ramsey, Financial Peace, Total Money Makeover; Loral Langemeier, The Millionaire Maker; Robert Kiyosaki, and Rich Dad, Poor Dad will like this book.

Author's Inspiration:  After going through a terrible financial disaster, I wanted to learn from my mistakes and make sure not to repeat the experience. Also wanted to help others avoid that pain, and prosper their own families. Out of the pain of that experience I wrote the book 100 Ways to Save and Grow Your Money: Financial Fitness for Regular People (paperback and Kindle). Some readers said they didn't know where to get the interest rates used in some of the examples in that book, so I wrote this companion book Getting 10% to help them.

Peter Sorrells

I'm a degreed engineer by formal training, with 8 patents and a successful career in the high tech industry. Also a musician and teacher, and a dad with three kids and a (very understanding) wife. I wrote 100 Ways to Save and Grow Your money to make sure I had everything straight in my head, and to teach others how to prosper their families and avoid the #1 cause of stress and fights in marriage: money problems. I wrote Getting 10% to help readers of the first book, to find the returns needed to grow at the rates in the examples (hint: things grow fast and big at 10% interest and beyond).
