Hawaii Clipper by S. Martin Shelton: On 29 July 1938, Pan American World Airways’ flying boat dubbed “Hawaii Clipper” departed Apra Harbor, Territory of Guam, en route to Manila. On board were 9 crewmembers and 11 passengers. About midway, Hawaii Clipper ceased broadcasting its scheduled reports. To this day, the mystery of the disappearance of Hawaii Clipper remains unsolved.
